This refrigerator is costly and I was expecting better.

Other than that however, this refrigerator is a great option. It features a large freezer compartment, which is unusual for counter-depth French door fridges. It also has a large capacity for frozen food compared to other models.

Inside the fridge, you'll find 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is typical for a fridge with a French door at this price. It has a decent-sized refrigerator with an ice maker in the left door. But, it's not the largest one I've seen.

You can adjust the shelves in both compartments to create a customized storage arrangement for what you want to keep. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS also looks attractive. The LED lighting is a nice addition, and the in-door storage bins come with a third shelf that can fold down to make it possible to store items that are tall. The drawers come with temperature controls so that you can set them for Beverage, Meat or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, although I found their textured plastic coatings to be a bit hard on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the full suite of features you'd expect from a refrigerator at this price that includes Wi-Fi as well as app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from anywhere in the globe. It also offers many options for customization. It also gives you notifications when doors are left open, when your fridge or freezer needs defrosting and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be nice it GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill the option that is available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allow users to set the amount of cups they wish to dispense. The fridge displays a countdown timer to display how much water is left, but it's not as useful as Precise fill.

This fridge was rated as the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. Its freezer temperatures remained constant at just above 0°F and never fluctuated more than a tiny fraction - this is crucial to prevent freezing burn. The refrigerator section of the fridge also performed well. It reached the temperature it was set within a matter of hours, and maintained the temperature throughout our tests.

Bosch has a reputation for premium appliances and appliances, so it's not a surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance with the option to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and Bosch's Home Connect platform. The app lets you monitor and control your refrigerator remotely from your tablet or smartphone. The refrigerator is costly however, it offers excellent features and functions at a reasonable cost.

It is important to know the limitations of your fridge. It has a narrow shelf space, which means you'll have to think creatively when storing tall items. The fridge features an ordinary French door layout, with two rows of shelving with spill-capture and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to make space for taller items. There's also a full-width storage drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great aspects of this refrigerator is that the ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it simple to move ice into the fridge to be used when it is required. The freezer features thoughtful design elements, too, like sliding drawers that can help you better organize the placement of items. It also has a large container for storing frozen food, and a separate container for ice.

They have sunken handles at the front, which allows shorter people to easily open them from the bottom, but they're not easy for taller people to pull closed without slamming them. It would have been better if they came with a front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent choice for those who want to combine the look and feel of a French-door refrigerator with an efficient design. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also less expensive than the best counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it an attractive option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option for those looking for a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a basic fridge that might not be as attractive like some of its competitors, but it still has enough features to make a suitable choice. Its main characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer which helps keep food items like veggies and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

Another nice feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. The drawer lets you direct some of the fridge's cooling power into this area so that you can keep food items that require extra attention. This feature is adjustable using an outside slider that is located inside the drawer. You can also use this to adjust the general cooling settings for the whole fridge, however, I've found that changing the generic settings tends to have a better effect than specific ones.

During my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across all areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the refrigerator didn't vary significantly from 38 degrees. That's a good performance however it doesn't be among the top in our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be connected with a smart thermostat to gain more precise information on the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge proof" finish. It wards off streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
